This Finance and Mortgage Broker Diploma Course has been specifically designed for existing Mortgage and Finance Broking professionals who wish to diversify their existing client offerings to include commercial finance while also increasing their qualification to the highest industry specific standard available (Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management).

MFAA members wanting to obtain “Credit Adviser” or “Certified Credit Adviser” status. – The MFAA now require members to obtain diploma qualifications from a preferred Training Organisation or undertake additional MFAA case studies in order to obtain “Credit Adviser” membership.

It is expected that those entering this Mortgage Broker Diploma course will have:

The Diploma will teach you how to:

  • Identify and present broking options to clients with complex needs
  • Structure commercial, business, property and leasing finance
  • Analyse financial statements and determine and manage risk exposure

Entry Requirement

The prerequisite for this course is the FNS40815 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

Assessments

To achieve your qualification you will complete a combination of loan scenario case studies, written exercises and on-line multiple choice questions corresponding with the training material.  There are no exams and you will have six months to submit your assignments.
